Detective Ted Farace went by his street name “Backstage” for his behind-the-scenes mastery of complex cases. He joined the NYPD as a police officer. His tenacious skill and commitment were soon recognized with promotions to Detective Third Grade and later to Detective Second Grade. Following his retirement in 1987, Detective Farace embarked on a new chapter, taking on a key role as a director of security in the corporate sector, where he ensured the protection of assets and personnel with the same vigilance and dedication he displayed on the streets of New York. He now resides in Las Vegas owning and managing a security guard training academy. He also owns and manages a non-profit organization that installs American flags on homes as a gesture of patriotism.
Detective Andy Camera known as “Soft-Shoes” had a quiet yet effective approach. He began his career with the NYPD as a police officer. Over the years, his dedication and sharp investigative skills earned him promotions to Detective Third Grade and then to Detective Second Grade. After years of honorable service on the force, Detective Camera retired in 1981. However, his journey didn’t end there. He seamlessly transitioned into the corporate world, where he leveraged his law enforcement expertise to become a successful coordinator of management training at the Brooklyn Union Gas Company, guiding future leaders with the same precision he applied in his police work. Andy is now retired and resides in Florida.
